Owners Jeff & Deborah Hahs started Texas Painting and Gutters 10 years ago.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years already! Time flies when you’re having fun and meeting great people.  We’re incredibly blessed to have painted and guttered so many homes throughout Collin County & surrounding areas.

Jeff has years of experience working as a Project Manager for a home improvement company; he has always been loved by his customers & had the most repeat customers.  I think they just love him so much that they start looking for things to be painted.  His nickname is “King of Customer Service”. 

His motto is and will always be, “You can trust us to do the right thing, even when you’re not looking.”

You will not find a more honest guy than Jeff.  He will educate you on what needs to be done in your home and also what doesn’t need to be done.  He has gone to do small bids and comes out of there without selling a job but instead tells the homeowner how to fix it themselves if it’s an easy fix.  Jeff will not sell you anything you don’t need.  

Matter of fact, Jeff doesn’t like that phrase.  He never wants a homeowner to feel like they’ve been sold; he wants them to decide based on facts and educate them about what needs to be done the right way, the way that’ll make their home last.  

If Jeff tells you there is rotted wood that needs to be replaced, he will show you and explain the importance of fixing it before it gets painted.

Now for me, I’m Deborah, Jeff’s wife.  It’s been my dream to own a business, and I knew with Jeff and I together, we could make it work.  We have always worked hard for other companies and treated them like they were our own.  I have a background in the medical field and have a BS in Health Management.  

Years ago, I worked as a Project Manager and was top sales in the nation.  I love marketing and helping others.  Jeff does the bids and I do all the behind-the-scenes stuff like writing blogs, emailing bids, invoicing, etc., all the stuff that Jeff would not want to do.  Jeff is the face of the business, and I labeled myself as Office Manager/Marketer.  Together we are making a great team. 

Jeff has worked with some of our crews for over 20 years. They are some of the nicest, most respectful people you’ll meet, and they’re extremely talented at what they do, and it shows.  Jeff is very picky and he wouldn’t trust your home to just anyone.   

 We love our crews and we know you will too!

Why Did We Start Texas Painting and Gutters?

We saw a need in the area for good, reliable home improvement companies that people can trust.  So, one day in our kitchen, Jeff came up with the name, I designed the logo and our daughter came up with the colors and the rest is history.

We have learned a lot, made some mistakes and most importantly, learned from those mistakes.

There are many painting companies out there to choose from, and we are so grateful to get the opportunity to work with our customers.  Not all painting companies are alike.

We are not the cheapest, nor are we the highest.  We are competitive in our bids.  

Jeff says, “Good painters aren’t cheap and cheap painters aren’t good”.

He pops in all the time, mainly with our painting jobs since we are usually there for several days.  If you need him, he’s only a phone call or text away, or already at your home.  We want you to be a customer for life.  That is our goal.  Bring back customer service.
